Description
dbx DriveRack PA2
The dbx DriveRack PA2 is a powerful loudspeaker management system compressed into an easy and quick to use 19″ unit. Two central features distinguish the dbx DriveRack PA2. Firstly, the wizard function, which guides the user through the individual configuration steps in a logical sequence, and secondly, the pre-configured setups. For example, for JBL loudspeakers and Crown amplifiers, all important parameters such as equalisation, level and dynamic adjustment are already set. This saves the user a lot of setup time.
In addition, the dbx DriveRack PA Plus has an auto EQ with integrated Real Time Analyzer and the parametric 8-band EQ for automatic speaker/room tuning. The input for the measuring microphone (with phantom power) and a pink noise generator allow exact room matching.
Another key feature of the dbx DriveRack PA2 is the integrated feedback suppression. Unwanted sound changes when setting multiple filters are prevented by the extremely narrow-band 1/80 oct. notch filters.
Control software on Mac, Windows, Android and iOS, a 31-band stereo graphic equaliser, 8-band parametric EQs, the classic dbx compressor, crossover, PeakStop limiter and subharmonic synthesiser optimise the possibilities of the dbx DriveRack PA2. Despite this extensive technical equipment, all parameters can be quickly and safely edited with the graphical user interface and remotely controlled via software.
The 24-bit DA and 24-bit Type IV AD converters also deliver a comfortable dynamic range of 110 dB.
