Description
Valeton VLP-400Dual Independent Looper
The VLP-400 Looper allows independent control of recording and playback for LOOP 1 and LOOP 2. Thanks to an integrated collaboration mode (SERIAL & FREE), two loops can be played back in parallel or switched between with ease, allowing you to create a performance effortlessly.
The VLP-400 supports intelligent doubling of overdubs, allowing you to record over an existing track multiple times. Each overdub can be controlled to be an exact multiple of the current loop duration.
Compared to the VLP-200, the VLP-400 offers even more possibilities for shaping the sound with the ASSIGN knobs and ASSIGN footswitches. With just a few turns of the knobs, you can activate 7 effects for the loops, including OCATVE, REVERSE, FREEZE, HALF, FADE, ONCE, and SOLO.
The VLP-400 is equipped with a new 100-pattern stereo drum machine that offers high-quality 24-bit, 48 kHz sampling. The drum machine offers a variety of drum kits (rock, pop, jazz, electronic, metal, and more) and can be controlled independently via the dedicated foot switch. When recording a phrase loop, the VLP-400 automatically synchronizes it with the tempo of the drum machine, ensuring perfect match. In AUTO mode, you can record a phrase and then activate the drum machine, which will automatically adjust to the tempo of the loop.
Thanks to 32-bit, 48 kHz digital audio processing, the VLP-400 can store up to 99 projects, each with up to 6 minutes of stereo recording (WAV, 32-bit float, 48 kHz). This results in a total recording time of 12 hours. Each project stores the recordings from LOOP 1 and LOOP 2, the selected drum rhythm, and the BPM settings. Together with the supporting software for import and export management, the VLP-400 becomes a portable music library.
