The OCC7 small-diaphragm capsule with true condenser technology, developed and built in Vienna, is the heart of the microphone. Austrian Audios proprietary Open Acoustics Technology ensures that the signal source is reproduced as resonance-free as possible. Furthermore, this design also reduces the microphones sensitivity to physically-induced sound, such as handling noise and shocks. The switchable 2nd order high-pass filter further enhances these features and can be used for sound-shaping, an effective tool against excessive proximity effects.
