AKG C214 Stereo-Set
The AKG C214 is a less expensive alternative to the legendary C414. In contrast to the C414’s dual-diaphragm technology, the C214 has a single-diaphragm capsule and is thus fixed to the cardioid polar pattern. The outstanding performance of the AKG C214 not only delivers a very detailed and precise sound in the studio, but its robust construction also masters the toughest demands of everyday stage use with ease.
The AKG C214 Stereo Set offers professional users a complete and perfect solution for excellent stereo recordings. For this purpose, the sound characteristics of each AKG C214 are determined by measurement. A sophisticated computer algorithm is used to select perfect microphone pairs that have the highest possible match across the entire frequency range and virtually identical sensitivities.
