Description
AKG C3000
The AKG C3000 is a robust large-diaphragm condenser microphone. Due to its affordable price, it is especially popular in home and project studios.
The microphone is versatile and can be used for vocals, electric and acoustic guitar, brass instruments and as an overhead microphone on drums. Even very loud sound sources are handled by the AKG C3000 without distortion because the sensitivity can be reduced by 10 dB. The low-noise capsule also brings out the best in quiet signals. A slight presence boost ensures good assertiveness and definition in the mix.
The cardioid characteristic cuts out ambient sound from the side and from behind. Crosstalk from other signals is reduced. A switchable high-pass filter reduces the proximity effect (overemphasis of the bass range). This can also be used to remove low-frequency noise.
The special suspension of the gold-plated diaphragm effectively prevents the transmission of mechanical vibrations such as footstep noise or grip noise.
A suitable mounting bracket is included.
