Black Lion Audio presents the popular Bluey FET compressor as a 500 unit. The compact module has all the functions of the 19-inch hardware, making the Bluey’s characterful sound available in a mobile lunchbox format. Based on the legendary Blue Stripe compressor, which was modified for Chris Lord-Alge, the Bluey 500 provides effective dynamics control including a mix control. At the same time, it delivers the popular sound coloration that Lord-Alge likes to use for vocals in particular, including the famous all-buttons mode for a particularly intense compression of the signal.
