Description
Crazy Tube Circuits Crossfire
The pedal is inspired by one of the most classic pedal-amplifier combinations in guitar history and is primarily aimed at SRV / John Mayer sounds, but enhanced with endless new tonal options!
The left side is based on a clean Fender amplifier and follows the circuit path down to the smallest detail (headroom switch: twin reverb style with high headroom setting and super reverb style with low headroom setting), while the right side is a tube -Screamer circuit along with the most common modifications that the circuit has seen over the years in its mass-produced or boutique variants (asymmetrical clipping, additional gain, additional voltage / headroom).
Thanks to the passive effects loop, additional pedals can be integrated into the signal chain or the two sides of the Crossfire can be used independently (send is the output of the screamer side, return is the input of the amp side). If both sides are in bypass mode, the loop is also true bypass, so that the signal is not affected at all.
