Description
The H.S. Anderson brand, established 1973 in Japan, has been building quality handcrafted instruments for a long time. Far from producing copies of famous US models, the Mad Cat was something completely unique. The body construction was based around a walnut center strip, with ash sides and maple top and bottom. The hardware and pickups were not typical for a Tele style guitar either. A small batch of these guitars was made for Hohner USA, with the Hohner logo. Pop artist Prince discovered one of these rare guitars early on in his career, and the rest is history.
