Renard Artist Model 555 English Horn

The Model 555 is known for its ease of playing, stability and durability. This english horn is the perfect choice for students, schools and doublers who require a high quality, reliable instrument.
The instrument is made with a high quality plastic resin body with a bore hand reamed and finished by Fox craftsmen. It includes silver plated posts, bands and bell ring, stainless steel arbors and wire springs, nickel silver keys with 18% nickel silver hinge tubing and heavy silver plating. Outfitted with full conservatory system (including left hand F key) with the exception of the split ring E(flat)-E trill key and A(flat)-B(flat) adjustment mechanism. Finished with cork pads on low C and above and Teflon tipped stainless steel adjusting screws. Each instrument is individually hand tuned to A-440 pitch at 72 F, with maximum resonance and projection.
