JBL Control 2PS
The JBL Control 2PM (Master) is a very compact, high-quality active monitor. It is suitable for monitoring a very wide range of applications – in sound and broadcast studios and OB vans, for video postproduction and PC workstations.
The active monitor is also an ideal solution as a compact loudspeaker for public address and paging systems in restaurants, hotels and the audiovisual sector.
In contrast to the JBL Control 1 Pro, the Control 2PM is equipped with two 35 watt amplifiers. One amplifier drives its own system, the other amplifier can be used to drive a second passive monitor, for example a JBL Control 1.
An integrated peak limiter protects the system from overload. The tweeters and woofers are magnetically shielded so that they can be used next to video monitors without interference.
The JBL Control 2PM features a side-mounted volume control with headphone output and a switchable tweeter adjustment of +/- 2 dB. Possible connections are RCA and XLR/jack combination sockets for left and right as well as internal and external speakers. The output of the second amplifier is connected to a 6.3 mm jack socket. Power is supplied via an external power supply unit.
The Control 2PS is a stereo set that includes another passive speaker (slave) in addition to the JBL Control 2PM.
