The PLX-1000 is a masterfully built piece of precision technology for professional DJs, developed on the basis of 50 years of experience in the development of high-quality turntables. This high-torque direct-drive turntable offers a classically functional layout of its controls and features a rubberized, S-shaped tonearm for maximum isolation and minimal feedback.
The high-torque direct drive with a full 4.5 kg/cm and more brings your tracks up to operating speed at 33 rpm in a snappy 0.3 seconds. To prevent resonances and vibrations, the chassis of the PLX-1000 is made of solid die-cast zinc. The lower part is reinforced with 8 mm thick resin and a 9 mm thick layer of vibration-inhibiting material. The rubber decoupled tonearm reduces howling effects, while a rubber and spring isolation absorbs external vibrations. Thanks to the multiple speed control, you can speed up or slow down the rotation of the platter by ±8%, ±16% and ±50% at any time, while pressing the reset button immediately resets it to ±0%.
The power and audio cables can be replaced quickly and easily, and professional gold-plated RCA plugs ensure low contact resistance and benefit the sound quality.
