The AKG K52 is a closed headphone with circumaural ear pads. It has a natural reproduction and a balanced sound image. The bass range is solid, the mids well defined and the highs clear. When mixing and listening, you get a good overall impression.

In order to be sufficiently loud on mobile playback devices and USB interfaces, the AKG K52 has a low impedance of 32 ohms and a high efficiency.

The AKG K52 are very comfortable to wear. They are very light, the ear pads are pleasantly soft and the headband automatically adjusts to the head size. The headphones can thus be worn comfortably even over a longer period of time.
