Rode NT5 S

The RØDE NT5 is a cardioid rod condenser microphone. It is preferred for miking acoustic instruments, as a drum overhead, for cymbals and live applications. This externally polarised microphone is equipped with a 1/2″ capsule and an active J-FET impedance converter with a two-pole output buffer. Its narrow cardioid polar pattern is also suitable for dialogue recording using a microphone stand or a boom in a film studio. If required, the NT5 can be equipped with an optional omnidirectional capsule (NT45-O). The NT5 has a satin nickel housing. The NT5 is manufactured in Australia and allows the RØDE warranty to be extended to 10 years free of charge.
