SSL UC1DAW/Plug-In Controller

The SSL UC1 is a unique hardware plug-in controller – for SSL plug-ins and (from 360° Software 1.7) also for ALL 3rd party plug-ins in VST3 format. The convenient mixing console layout provides you with high-quality controls and switches for an optimal workflow. This turns the operation of any plug-in into a creative flight of fancy. You also save time and activate your muscle memory with every move.

The hardware eye-catcher is undoubtedly the authentic moving coil VU meter display for the gain reduction of the Bus Compressor 2 plug-in. This allows you to keep an eye on the most important dynamic parameter at all times. In addition, a large number of LEDs provide an overview of the levels, control positions and switch positions – just like on a real mixing console. Speaking of mixing consoles – the SSL 360° plug-in mixer is also available. In this plug-in mixer, you can view and control all your 360°-capable plug-ins such as channel strips, bus compressors and much more in one place. The 360° plug-in mixer provides an efficient way to interact with multiple plug-ins simultaneously, further bridging the gap between console and in-the-box workflows.

In addition to a large number of perpetual SSL licenses and a 6-month trial version of SSL Complete (for all SSL plug-ins), the free 360° software from V1.7 offers a ground-breaking, eagerly awaited feature: the control of 3rd party plug-ins with the UC1. The software module that makes this possible is the SSL 360 Link Plug-In. This allows you to easily map your favorite plug-ins to the pots and knobs of the UC1 and they are also displayed in the 360° plug-in mixer. Features such as Drag & Drop and Click & Turn make this adjustment child’s play. The update also provides ready-made mappings for plug-ins from Waves, Universal Audio and many others.

With the UC1 and the two UF8/UF1 DAW controllers, SSL offers you a uniquely intuitive and flexible eco-system for your studio productions. The easy setup and functional overview of the UC1 is explained in the Videos section with helpful tutorials (some with German subtitles).
