After the UT FET47, United presents another reincarnation of a classic studio microphone with the UT Twin87. With its switchable « Modern » and « Vintage » modes, the UT Twin87 combines two historical circuit variants of the original in a single microphone, offering maximum sonic flexibility. The RF filter has also been designed to be switchable. A meticulously modeled UT K87 capsule as well as the best components and an oversized output transformer make the UT Twin87 a flexible studio all-rounder that doesn’t have to shy away from comparison with its historical role model.
