Zoom H5studio – Handy Recorder
The H5studio is designed for seamless and professional productions. With its breathtakingly transparent-sounding microphones, studio-grade preamps and 32-bit float recording, creatives can record with flawless sound quality.
Zooms F-Series preamps built into the H5studio provide unsurpassed clarity (-127 dBu ON). Thanks to dual A/D converters and 32-bit float technology, they deliver an impressive 132 dB dynamic range that captures the entire dynamic spectrum without noise or distortion.
The H5studio records up to six tracks (four single tracks and one stereo mix) with sample rates up to 192 kHz.
The 32-bit float and 16/24 bit formats have their advantages. 32-bit float protects against overrides, but makes rework unavoidable. At 16/24-bit, the post-processing can be omitted, but the gain must be carefully adjusted to avoid overrides. With 32-bit float and dedicated gain controls, the H5studio offers the best of both worlds: no risk of overdrive, but also no need for post-processing.
